James Creek became a licensed winery/cidery in February 2016. That’s kind of funky timing with the apple harvest ending a couple months earlier, but thankfully, we had hoarded some apples and were able to source others and begin selling cider at farmers’ markets in Pinehurst and Carrboro, NC in August 2016. With a wonderful harvest in 2016, we began self-distributing to restaurants, bars and bottle shops in March of 2017, from Pinehurst on up NC-15/501 to Durham.
