Farmers’ Markets

Since 2014, the Carrboro Farmers’ Market has been our home away from home.

We love our friendships with market customers and market days have typically been the best part of our week…..even when we wake up at 3:15 am on summer Saturday mornings. In recent years, we have expanded our market presence and now attend more markets in order to bring our ciders to more and more people.

We typically bring a limited offering of cider to each market, so if you have a special event or want to place a big order, please e-mail us at info@jamescreekciderhouse.com by noon on Friday.

Generally, we are at the Carrboro Farmers’ Market every Wednesday and Saturday from June through October when we have both fruit (peaches, blueberries, pears, apples, and muscadines in season) and cider, and every Saturday through New Year’s Eve with cider. January through May, we attend on Saturdays usually twice a month and two Wednesdays a month in April and May as well.

Carrboro Farmers’ Market

Saturday – Jan-May – two Saturdays per month

Saturday – June-December – every week

Wednesday – April – May – two Wednesdays per month

Wednesday – June-September – every week

Sanford Farmer’s Market on the 1st and 3rd Saturday beginning in April.

Cary Farmer’s Market on the 4th Saturday of each month.

Sandhills Farmer’s Market on the 2nd Saturday in May through September.

Moore County Farmer’s Market is also coming soon with dates to be released SOON!

We began selling peaches and blueberries at CFM in June of 2014, then in August 2016 sold our first cider at the market….in fact, since we didn’t have a tasting room or bottle sales at the farm until November 2019, the Carrboro Farmers’ Market has been a vital retail market for us and the support of those customers has been a linchpin of any success we’ve had. We love sharing our peaches and Southern heirloom apples with customers and hearing how they are a part of gatherings and celebrations. We learn much from them about how to approach and improve what we do.
